Kasalong Kids International School

Kasalong Kids International School (KKIS) is established in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Thailand to meet the growing demand for high-quality international education aligned with global standards and international citizenship in Thailand. The school offers the National Curriculum of England, widely recognised for its rigorous academic framework and balanced approach to developing critical skills, creativity, and personal, social and emotional development.

The establishment of KKIS represents a major development in education in the northwestern region of Thailand. As the first international school in the region, KKIS provides all core and foundational subjects to be taught in the English language, as well as Thai Language, Thai Culture and History. Hence, the School provides students with an internationally respected curriculum and a learning environment that embraces Thai culture and values.

KK British Education Academic Programmes

Preschool

(EYFS)

Our Preschool programme follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework of England,
providing children with a strong foundation through the seven Areas of Learning and Development.
Learning is delivered through play-based and project-based experiences with a focus on English, early
mathematics, creativity, and exploration.
Daily routines help children develop essential life skills, independence, self-regulation, confidence, and
positive social behaviours, preparing them for a successful transition into primary school.

Primary School

(Key Stage 1 & 2)

The primary school is also guided by the British Curriculum and follows the framework set out
by the Cambridge International Primary Program with 10 core subjects. Project-based learning
activities enhance learning and understanding by mirroring themes in the textbooks with
practical problem-solving. This combined approach of academic and applied, practical
experiences are embedded with 21st Century skills known as the 4Cs.

Secondary School

(Key Stage 3)

KKIS is expanding into Secondary School through the introduction of Key Stage 3, beginning with Year 7.
Based on the National Curriculum of England and Pearson International Lower Secondary programmes,
students develop greater independence, subject knowledge, critical thinking, and research skills.
The programme provides a supportive transition from primary to secondary education while preparing
students for future IGCSE studies. As the school grows, the secondary pathway will expand through
Years 8 and 9, providing students with access to internationally recognised qualifications and
opportunities for future success.
