Welcome back to school on Monday, 27 October 2025!
We hope everyone had a restful break. Please find below the important updates and upcoming events during Term 1.

📘 ELL Program Updates: Support to Attain International Standards

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to share the latest updates regarding our ELL (English Language Learning) Support Program.

To ensure minimal disruption to core subjects, ELL sessions will take place five periods per week during Other Languages (3 periods), Project, and Religious Education lessons.

The goal is to help students accelerate their English literacy skills as identified by the Pearson EBYL proficiency tests and UK Standards baseline, while building confidence and fluency in English communication.

The program will run from 27 October to the second week of December, followed by a benchmark test after the December break in January.
Our Admissions Team will also contact parents to arrange short interviews to collect student background information for more personalized support.

🏫 Afterschool Clubs

All Thursday clubs will move to Friday, except the Football Club (Group B), which will now combine with the Monday session.

Afterschool Clubs will begin on Monday, 27 October 2025.

👩‍💼 Meeting with School Directors

Parents are warmly invited to join our “Meeting with KKIS Directors” on Thursday, 30 October 2025. This is a valuable opportunity to connect directly with school management, discuss updates, and share your feedback. Together, we build a stronger KKIS community.

During the meeting, we will also review:

  • Assessment Cycle
  • ELL Standards & Support Plans
  • Google Classroom & Active Learning Workshop
  • School Environment & Development Plan
  • Meet Our New Team Members: We are pleased to introduce two new members of the KKIS teaching team:
    • Mr. David – Year 2 Homeroom Teacher
    • Mr. Victor – Year 5 Homeroom Teacher 

Both bring valuable experience and enthusiasm to our growing community, and we look forward to their contributions as we continue developing our academic excellence and school culture.

🏅 KKIS Olympics Activities

Starting Thursday, 30 October 2025, students will be drawn into their Houses for Olympic preparation days on: 30 Oct, 6 Nov, 13 Nov, 20 Nov, and the Big Day on Friday, 21 November 2025!

Preschool: 

🕘 9:00–10:30 AM — Please drop students off at the Primary Campus every Thursday morning during the Olympics period.
🚌 The school will transport students back to Kasalong Campus by van around 11:00 AM, with your permission.

Primary:

🏃 Extended activities during Period 7 (15:00–15:50) until 16:20.
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents, please pick up your child between 16:20–16:40.

Olympics Big Day – Friday, 21 November 2025!

🏆 Students, parents, and teachers will come together to celebrate the KKIS Olympic Spirit and find out which House will be the Champion!

🌕 Loy Krathong Festival 2025

We’re excited to celebrate the Loy Krathong Festival together at KKIS!
To make this cultural celebration even more meaningful, we invite parent volunteers to help guide students in crafting their own krathongs.

🗓 Event Schedule
 Planning Session: Tuesday, 4 November | 9:00 – 11:00 AM
 Festival Day: Wednesday, 5 November 2025

  • Preschool: 8:00 – 12:00
  • Primary: 12:30 – 15:30

🧵 Volunteer Requirements
 5–10 parents per section with basic craft experience, available for both the planning session and festival day.

เปิดภาคเรียน วันจันทร์ที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2568 ยินดีต้อนรับนักเรียนและผู้ปกครองกลับสู่โรงเรียนอีกครั้ง!

📘 โครงการส่งเสริมทักษะภาษาอังกฤษ (ELL Program)

โรงเรียนขอแจ้งกำหนดการและแนวทางดำเนินงานของ โครงการพัฒนา ELL (English Language Learning) ซึ่งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนให้ได้ตามมาตรฐานสากลและเพิ่มความมั่นใจในการสื่อสาร

ชั่วโมงเรียน ELL จะจัดขึ้นสัปดาห์ละ 5 คาบ โดยจัดในช่วงวิชา Other Languages (3 คาบ), Project และ Religious Education เพื่อไม่ให้กระทบกับการเรียนในรายวิชาหลัก

โครงการจะเริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่ 27 ตุลาคม ถึงสัปดาห์ที่สองของเดือนธันวาคม และจะมีการทดสอบวัดผลอีกครั้งหลังปิดเทอมเดือนธันวาคม

ตั้งแต่ภาคเรียนนี้เป็นต้นไป ชมรมที่เคยจัดในวันพฤหัสบดีจะเลื่อนเป็น วันศุกร์
 ยกเว้นชมรมฟุตบอล (Football Club Group B) ซึ่งจะจัดรวมกับรอบ วันจันทร์

การพบปะครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสดีในการพูดคุย แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น และร่วมกันพัฒนาโรงเรียนให้ก้าวหน้าไปพร้อมกัน

หัวข้อสำคัญในการประชุม ได้แก่

  • ปฏิทินกิจกรรมและกำหนดการใหม่ของโรงเรียน
  • รอบการประเมินผลการเรียน (Assessment Cycle)
  • มาตรฐานและแนวทางการดำเนินงานโครงการ ELL
  • การใช้ Google Classroom และแนวทางการจัดการเรียนรู้ (Active Learning)
  • แผนพัฒนาอาคารสถานที่และสิ่งแวดล้อมในโรงเรียน

🏅 กิจกรรมกีฬาโอลิมปิคประจำปี KKIS Olympics 2025

เริ่มตั้งแต่ วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 30 ตุลาคม 2568 นักเรียนทุกคนจะได้รับการจัดเข้าทีม House เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการแข่งขันในวัน 30 ต.ค., 6 พ.ย., 13 พ.ย., 20 พ.ย. และวันสำคัญ ศุกร์ที่ 21 พฤศจิกายน 2568

ระดับอนุบาล:
 🕘 เวลา 9:00–10:30 น. — กรุณาส่งนักเรียนที่ Primary Campus ทุกวันพฤหัสบดีในช่วงกิจกรรม
 🚌 หลังจบกิจกรรม โรงเรียนจะจัดรถรับส่งกลับ Kasalong Campus เวลาประมาณ 11:00 น. โดยทำการขออนุญาตผู้ปกครองรายบุคคล

ระดับประถม:
 🏃 มีกิจกรรมต่อเนื่องในคาบที่ 7 (เวลา 15:00–15:50 น.) ถึงเวลา 16:20 น.
 👨‍👩‍👧 ผู้ปกครองสามารถมารับนักเรียนระหว่างเวลา 16:20–16:40 น.

🌕 กิจกรรมประเพณีลอยกระทง 2568

โรงเรียนขอเชิญผู้ปกครองร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ กิจกรรมประเพณีลอยกระทง เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้และร่วมสืบสานวัฒนธรรมไทยอย่างใกล้ชิด

  • ประชุมเตรียมงานผู้ปกครองอาสา: วันอังคารที่ 4 พฤศจิกายน เวลา 9:00–11:00 น.
  • วันจัดกิจกรรมลอยกระทง: วันพุธที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2568
      • ระดับอนุบาล เวลา 8:00–12:00 น.
      • ระดับประถม เวลา 12:30–15:30 น.

🧵 เปิดรับอาสาสมัครผู้ปกครอง 5–10 ท่านต่อระดับชั้น
 มีพื้นฐานด้านงานประดิษฐ์หรือกิจกรรมแนวสร้างสรรค์
